Our Service Times Are Changing!
As of the 10th January we are multiplying our Sunday services to make room for the people God is bringing.
Over the last two years we’ve had the joy of welcoming so many people who are coming to church for the first time. If you’ve been around for a while you’ll know that our 10.00 am service is running out of space. Not only are we full in the main space but our children’s and young people’s groups are struggling to fit into their rooms.
We always want to have room for you to bring your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to a Sunday service, we are making changes to make that possible. To create space we will be changing our service times and moving from three to four Sunday services.
What will the new times be?
9.15am and 11.30am. These services will feel like our current 10.00 am service. We celebrate God together, we hear from God’s Word, we pray – and then we eat biscuits. There will be full provision of groups for the children (every age) and young people (S1-4) at both services.
5.00 pm. We are beginning a new 5.00 pm service. Just as with our current 12.00 pm service this will be one hour long. It will be centred around communion. If you love to worship through ancient prayers, beautiful songs and deep quiet – come along!
7.00 pm. Our 7pm service is remaining unchanged. This is a space where we worship through song, listen to God’s Word, and make space for God to meet us in whatever ways He wants to. Everyone is welcome at this service!
You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers
-
All services are about connecting with God through sung worship, the Bible and prayer. Whichever one you think suits your Sunday timings, that’s probably the best one for you.
-
Yes! They will be the same service. If you are happy to help out you might want to serve at one service and attend another.
-
The 5.00 pm is a little different from our other services. It’s a bit smaller and we use more traditional ways of praying. We will be praying with words that have been used by Christians for hundreds (sometimes thousands) of years. We share communion together every week. We have times of worship that are creative and reflective, sometimes these involve singing, sometimes listening to others sing and at other points silence and stillness. If you have never tried connecting with God through ancient ways of worshipping, we’d encourage you to come and give it a try.

It does need all of us to make church happen! We have lots of ways you can serve on a Sunday team. Find out more here.
-
For young people in S5-6 you can come along before the 7.00 pm to hang out and then attend the 7.00 pm together as a group. To find out more about what’s on for Youth at Ps & Gs, click here.

Yes! Between the 9.15 am and the 11.30 am we’ll be having drinks and biscuits. Come early or stay late to catch up with your friends.

We have allowed for increased costs in our new budget that starts in October 2026. We will be asking the congregation – as we normally do – to give generously to help cover these increased costs. You can find out more about giving here.
