Youth at Ps & Gs

If you are in S1 - S6 then Ps & Gs Youth is for you!

Everything we do is about spending time with each other and spending time with God. Together, we work out what difference a relationship with God makes to your whole life.

We meet Regularly on Sundays and three Fridays a Month. We have an annual weekend away, attend Magnitude worship nights throughout the year, and attend the Magnitude Festival together every July.

Sundays

S1-S4

S1-S4s meet each Sunday in school term time during our 10am service.

Each Sunday we will spend some time getting stuck into a passage from the Bible, focussing on a particular theme, character or topic.

Some examples of things we have looked at this past year include the parables of Jesus, women of the Bible, and prayer.

S5-S6

S5-S6s meet each Sunday in School term time at 6pm, before our 7pm service.

We gather in No 40 York place, share a meal, spend time catching up and praying, and then attend the 7pm service together.

Fridays

We currently run 3 Fridays a month. These are open to all ages, with each Friday having it’s own distinct format, structure and identity.

Big Vibes – Main Space, 7pm – 9:30pm

Big Vibes takes place in the main church at 46 York place. There is pizza, chat, music, and often some sort of large team challenge which is a great opportunity to mix with others and meet new people.

Chill Vibes – 40 York Place, 7:30 – 9:30pm

Chill Vibes is an evening for catching up with your friends, having some snacks, and maybe a card game or a race in MarioKart! Very chill, very demure, very mindful.

Holy Vibes – 40 York Place, 8pm-9:30pm

Holy Vibes is a chance for us to gather together and spend some time in worship, hearing a talk, interview or testimony, and praying with and for each other.

Meet Mark

“I’ve realised I have quite a lot of things I enjoy, so here are a few greatest hits. I find such joy in spending time with friends, doing quizzes, playing games, and travelling to new places. I am passionate about creating spaces where anyone, but especially young people, feel safe to be themselves, have fun, build relationships, and explore what a life with Jesus at the centre might look like and mean for them.”
