Welcome to Ps & Gs Events and our fantastic multipurpose building and beautiful venue.  The church reopened in 2009 after major refurbishment which won an Architectural Award for Building of the Year. The building is a stunning, functional, flexible and welcoming space, in which we have had the privilege to host many wonderful events over the years and have built great relationships with the local community, national and international clients. We have hosted everything from weddings to three-day conferences, fairs, ceilidhs, concerts and award ceremonies.

We have a friendly, helpful team and we work hard to give the best service and care to every client.

Our Facilities

Foyer

A perfect location for welcoming and carrying out registration for events.

Main space

Our main space is extremely flexible, offering theatre, cabaret and conference set-ups and more.  The church is fitted with a state-of-the-art AV system, for all presentation, camera, sound and lighting needs. We have a trained, hardworking and willing technical team, ready to support your events.

Ground floor hall, upper hall, lower hall

Our side halls are different sizes, giving flexibility to host events in board room, horseshoe, cabaret or theatre styles. Each of our side rooms has in-built projectors/screens, DVDs and sound. All technology is provided within your hire package. Each of the halls can also be used for workshops or break-out spaces.

Accessibility

Our building has street level access from York Place and we have an accessible lift that serves all three floors of the building. Our main space is also fitted with a hearing loop system.

As well as being a wonderful place to host your event, we are in a perfect city centre location, with the tram-airport link and many local bus services right outside our door, and Edinburgh main train and bus stations within a short walking distance.

Optional extras

We believe in providing quality service, hospitality and making people feel welcomed and at home in our building. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in your hire package, and your additional catering needs can be accommodated through one of our catering partners: Breadshare, Appetite Direct, Social Bite, Regis Banqueting.  We can also provide many extras to support your event, including flipcharts, wi-fi and much more - please just ask.
