When is it?

We usually start each course in September. Keep checking back here for more information.

Who is it for?

If you’re involved in a church and you want to learn, it’s for you! You don’t need to be an experienced student or hold any particular qualifications.

The Courses:

Apologetics: learn to challenge prominent world views and become more confident in God and Scripture. This is a rigorous course looking at challenging topics ranging from the trustworthiness of the Bible, to God, evil and suffering.

Bible Track 1: get to grips with the Bible, focusing on the Pentateuch, Wisdom Literature, and the Gospels. This is a dynamic, comprehensive overview of the Bible, with DVD lectures from some of the UK's best biblical experts.

Life Track: a biblical based ethics course helping you to integrate faith and life through topics such as politics, work and, sexual ethics.

What are the sessions like?

Each session starts with a time of reflection and features a fascinating and engaging lecture, with opportunities to discuss, ask questions and think about how the things we're learning might shape the way in which we live as Christians. A coffee break in the middle provides space to get to know one another while in-course exercises will help you apply the learning to everyday life.

Our local course instructors use DVD-based material from St Paul’s Theological Centre in London, Ravi Zacharias Ministries and Regent College, Canada, with teaching by highly respected theologians. The instructors then bring the sessions alive with thoughtful discussions and opportunities to interact with other students, to get the most out of each class. Our instructors create a welcoming and safe environment, where everyone can participate, regardless of educational experience.

How much does it cost?

£90 (£50 unwaged)
